Fabrique and SXSW Interactive join specialist jury BMMT Award
Jeroen van Erp (Fabrique) and Todd Hansen (SXSW Interactive) are part of the specialist jury for the Buma Music meets Tech pitch programme. During the pitch programme, twelve start-ups will have the opportunity to present themselves (or their concept) to the (national and international) visitors of Eurosonic Noorderslag and an international specialist jury – professionals from the industry. The specialist jury will determine which start-up will win the Buma Music meets Tech Award.
Besides Jeroen van Erp and Todd Hansen, the jury consists of Ralph Simon (Mobilium Global Group), Monique van Dusseldorp (Media Specialist), Kirsten van Houten (Buma/Stemra) and Chris Carey (Media Insight Consulting). The start-up that, according to the specialist jury, offers the greatest added value to users, fans or artists will win the Buma Music meets Tech Award at the Eurosonic Noorderslag conference on Friday, January 2016. This includes a cash prize of € 5.000,-.
Start-ups can register for the Buma Music meets Tech pitch programme until, and including, 11 December 2015.

Buma Music meets Tech is the innovative programme initiated by Buma/Stemra which supports and motivates start-ups and accelerates growth. Buma Music meets Tech offers them a platform to promote themselves to, for example, professionals and the public. A network of companies, entrepreneurs, collective management organisations and investors will provide start-ups with the opportunity to evolve into a service with an effective business model.
